India

Built in India, for Indian regulated enterprises.

BFSI, healthcare, insurance, telecom — the four verticals where India’s largest enterprises have the volume, the regulator scrutiny, and the budget to make agentic AI actually pay back. Vihaya is the platform built for them: DPDP Act 2023 aligned by design, RBI / IRDAI / CERT-In aware, deployable in Mumbai or Bengaluru cloud regions, quoted in INR.

Regulatory alignment

Every primitive Vihaya ships maps to a specific Indian regulatory obligation. Nothing is bolt-on.

DPDP Act 2023

Append-only audit of every data-processing action with purpose, actor, and outcome. Configurable PII redaction. Consent + notice surfaces wired during the engagement.

RBI Master Direction (IT Outsourcing)

Deploys inside the bank's VPC. Right-to-audit clause and exit-management plan as standard SOW artefacts. Audit chain supports examiner inspection.

IRDAI Cyber Security Guidelines

Audit, RBAC, and access-control primitives align with IRDAI's Cyber Security Guidelines for insurers. Decisions are reviewable years later from cold storage.

CERT-In 6-hour reporting

Breach-detection hooks expose incident events to the customer's CERT-In reporting workflow within the mandated window.

ABDM / Ayushman Bharat

FHIR R4 ingest. Plug into the ABDM Health Information Exchange as a configurable adapter for health-insurance engagements.

Data localisation

AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1), GCP Mumbai (asia-south1), Azure South India / Central India. Foundation models via Azure OpenAI India or Vertex Mumbai for in-region processing.

Intent classification + personalised resolution across English, Hindi, and the major regional languages. Designed for 100M+ MAU operator scale.

Motor / property claim triage

Photo-evidence parsing, policy-clause grounding, fraud-flag escalation. Output is a cited recommendation, not a black-box approval.

Hospitals & Healthcare

Discharge summary + coding assist

Generate ICD-coded discharge summaries from the clinician's notes. Reviewer corrects in-place; corrections feed the eval set.

Public sector

Benefits eligibility (PMJAY)

Eligibility decisioning grounded in scheme guidelines, with audit and citations for every approval and denial — built for the scale Ayushman Bharat demands.

India FAQ

What is the DPDP Act 2023 and how does Vihaya support it?

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 is India's federal personal-data-protection law. It establishes the data-fiduciary role, notice-and-consent requirements, purpose limitation, and breach-notification timelines (paired with CERT-In's 6-hour rule). Vihaya's audit primitive — append-only logging of every data-processing action with purpose and actor — gives the customer a defensible record of compliance. PII redaction in logs is configurable. The engagement includes wiring notice and consent into the customer's data-principal touchpoints.

Does Vihaya satisfy RBI's IT outsourcing framework?

Yes. The Master Direction on Outsourcing of IT Services requires data localisation, examiner audit rights, exit-management plans, and BCP/DR provisions. Vihaya deploys inside the bank's VPC (AWS Mumbai, GCP Mumbai, or Azure South India) so no data leaves the bank's environment. The audit-trail primitive supports examiner inspection of any specific decision. The pilot SOW includes the right-to-audit clause and an exit-management plan as standard.

Can Vihaya integrate with ABDM / Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission?

Yes. The Context Mesh ingests structured health data via FHIR R4 (the standard ABDM uses) and unstructured policy / claim text via the same hybrid retrieval pipeline. Vihaya engagements for health insurers and hospital chains include the ABDM Health Information Exchange (HIE) integration as a configurable adapter.

Does Vihaya work in Hindi and regional languages?

Yes. The foundation models we route to (gpt-4o, Claude, Gemini) handle English, Hindi, and the major Indian regional languages — Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi. Customer-experience deployments for Indian telecoms and consumer banks typically operate multilingual from day one.

Where does the data live? Is it stored outside India?

Customer data lives in the customer's own cloud environment — typically AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1), GCP Mumbai (asia-south1), or Azure South India / Central India. Vihaya does not store customer data in our environment. Foundation-model calls route to the customer-approved provider; both Azure OpenAI India and Google Vertex Mumbai support in-region processing for customers who require it.

How is the pilot priced in INR?

Pilots will be fixed-price 12-week engagements quoted in INR per engagement, after the discovery call. Vihaya is pre-revenue — no paid pilot has yet completed, so we don't publish a price range until the first design-partner engagements set the reference. Design-partner customers receive materially better economics in exchange for case-study rights and product-roadmap input.

Pilot conversations are open in BFSI, health insurance, and telecom.
